When surgery becomes part of a patient's treatment, our staff of qualified Registered Nurses, Surgical Technologists, Physician Assistants, Certified Anesthetists and Anesthesiologists provide comprehensive medical care. The Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic provides surgical services for over 800 patients per month. Our three inpatient surgical suites, five outpatient surgical suites, cystoscopy room, and three endoscopy rooms are utilized for general, vascular, orthopedic, spinal, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, dental, urology and endoscopic surgery.

The Operating Room Nurses and Surgical Techs demonstrate their knowledge and skill by providing safety, comfort and welfare for the surgical patient through all phases of the operative procedure. The surgical professional makes available to the surgeon the instruments, equipment and environment needed to perform the operation. The surgical team begin the groundwork for the patient's journey to attaining maximum restoration of function.
