We are pleased to announce the opening of our new Pre Operative Admission Unit on Monday, January 28, 2008 at The Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic.
THIS IS FOR PATIENTS COMING FOR A SURGICAL PROCEDURE TO THE MAIN HOSPITAL BUILDING ONLY.
The new unit, which is located on the 4th floor of the main hospital, will be open to accept inpatient surgical patients from 5:45 - 1:45 P.M.
Patients will no longer report to Admissions but instead come directly to the 4th floor Pre Operative Admission Unit.
Patients arriving prior to 6:00 A.M. shall enter the hospital through the Emergency Room entrance and follow the signs to the 4th floor.
After 6:00 A.M., all patients should go through the main entrance of the hospital and follow the signs to the 4th floor. This area is designed to help streamline the admission process for the patients and to help expedite the patients arrival time to the OR.
